USE
CORNINGWARE cookware is extremely versatile. It can be taken straight from the freezer to the oven, microwave, gas or electric stovetop and then to dishwasher or sink – no matter how hot or cold the dish is.
CORNINGWARE cookware is easy to clean and does not stain or retain odours.
Stovetop use
CORNINGWARE cookware retains heat so well, you can use a lower heat setting than normal and save on energy. This also helps prevent sticking or burning of food.
For best results, prepare food which are stirred or have liquid as a cooking medium.
CORNINGWARE cookware can be used on gas, electric and ceramic stovetops.
Oven and griller use
CORNINGWARE cookware is ideal for all oven types – conventional, convection and toaster ovens.
Glass cover must not be placed under the griller or in a toaster oven.
Microwave use
CORNINGWARE cookware is perfect for the microwave.
Use pot holders as dish may become hot during cooking.
Refrigerator and freezer use
CORNINGWARE cookware can go from the refrigerator or freezer directly to the stovetop, oven or microwave.
CARE
Use only wooden, nylon or plastic utensils. Metal utensils can scratch or leave grey marks on the CORNINGWARE cookware surface.
Use only plastic or nylon cleaning pads and non-abrasive cleansers such as CORNINGWARE Cleaner & Conditioner.
To loosen cooked-on food, soak cookware in warm soapy water. Cool the glass cover before soaking.
SAFETY
All glass and glass-ceramic materials are breakable, so please take care in use.
DO NOT use CORNINGWARE cookware for deep fat frying.
DO NOT use for popping corn, caramelising sugar or making candy.
Use pot holders when handling hot CORNINGWARE cookware in the microwave oven.
DO NOT heat empty CORNINGWARE cookware in the microwave oven.
DO NOT use or repair chipped, cracked, or broken CORNINGWARE items and glass covers.
Place hot CORNINGWARE cookware on a placemat as retained heat could damage bench surfaces.
DO NOT use the glass cover under a griller or in a toaster oven.
DO NOT place a hot glass cover on a cold or wet surface, or handle with a wet cloth.
FAQ
What causes the grey lines or marks on my CORNINGWARE?
Grey metal marks can be commonly found on all glass products. These marks is caused by friction between glass and metal such as using metal utensils, silverware, exposed metal on dishwasher racks or stainless steel sinks. Metal utensils should not be used with CORNINGWARE. Instead use wooden, nylon or plastic utensils.
Tips: To loosen food, allow cookware to soak and use only plastic or nylon cleaning pads with non-abrasive cleansers such as CORNINGWARE Cleaner & Conditioner. A soft sponge with a non-abrasive cleanser may also remove the grey marks on your CORNINGWARE.
What appliances can I used my CORNINGWARE on?
All CORNINGWARE cookware can be used in conventional, convection, toaster and microwave ovens; gas and electric stovetop; in the refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher. For use in freezer, please use with caution as liquid expansion may cause possible pressure for glass to break.
What is CORNINGWARE made of? Does it have any harmful substance?
CORNINGWARE cookware is made of a highly heat resistant and durable glass ceramic material. It is very heat resistant and does not stain or retain odours. It is easy to clean and is harmless to health.
Can I continue to use my CORNINGWARE cookware if its handle is chipped?
Generally you should not use any chipped, cracked or broken glass product. The glass item can be very risky. Hence, do not use damaged CORNINGWARE cookware or glass cover.
How can I remove food stuck on my CORNINGWARE surface?
To loosen cooked-on food, soak cookware in mild warm soapy water or in vinegar and water mix with the ratio of 1:3 for long hours. CORNINGWARE cookware retains heat so well; you can use a lower heat setting than normal and save on energy. This also helps prevent sticking or burning of food. Use only plastic or nylon cleaning pads, as metal harsh scouring pads can leave grey marks on CORNINGWARE cookware surface.
What if my CORNINGWARE cookware breaks?
Corelle Brands (Asia Pacific) promises to replace any glass-ceramic part of your CORNINGWARE cookware that breaks from hot or cold temperatures within ten years from date of purchase. But chipped or cracked by the impact is not covered under warranty.

What if my glass cover is broken?
CORNINGWARE cover is made of borosilicate glass. Corelle Brands (Asia Pacific) promises to replace any glass cover that breaks from heat within two years from the date of purchase. But chipped or cracked by the impact is not covered under warranty.
Can I purchase only CORNINGWARE cookware base?
No. CORNINGWARE cookware is sold together with its cover.
Can I purchase only glass or plastic cover?
Yes, glass and plastic covers can be purchased separately.
Is the plastic cover covered under warranty?
Yes, Corelle Brands (Asia Pacific) promises to replace any part with a manufacturing defect, without charge, within one year from date of purchase.
